Onfi Withdrawal Lessons

PAY THE PRICE AND GET THE NAME BRAND. You need to be able to trust your dose -- you need to be able to hold him at a steady EXACT dose so that his behavior will level out so that you can then be confident in your next drug decrease. Remember the blueberry muffin analogy. Pills are only meant to be scored when and where they have a line. THIS IS NOT WORTH IT.

Janelle: What does onfi bad behavior look like for you? Just curious. I feel like with the fourth a tab I'm not able to be super consistent and behavior lately has been awful. Just curious what your experience is and how you would describe it... Wondering if I'm right to blame the drug.

Lauren: For us it looks like two separate things. One way is that he becomes an absolute Tasmanian devil where he cannot sit still, focus, be engaged, with anything for more than 10 seconds. Even his iPad, he constantly flips through shows, he cannot look at one thing for more than a couple seconds, he cannot help himself from fidgeting. If he's in a room he has to be on top of things under things touching things turning on lights turning off lights. He's like a world wind

The second ways that his behavior shows is that he refuses to do anything that we ask of him. In that refusal it could be running away, falling to the floor, screaming, banging his head on anything he can find, banging his fist like punching the ground. He is inconsolable, anything to Therapist ask him to do is utter refusal. He grinds his teeth almost like growling at us because he's angry. He refuses to do anything that he wants to. And shows his frustration with either self injury us behavior or behavior that would injure us if he were bigger like punching kicking hitting those kind of things

Clobazam controls the symptoms of seizures by stabilising the electrical activity of your brain, which prevents the seizures from occurring. It also relaxes muscles that stiffen (contract) during a seizure. This means that the numbers of seizures are reduced, and those that do occur, are less severe

In effect, the longer you take benzos the more your brain and body come to depend on them. When you stop taking the drug, it takes longer for your body to return to normal. For these reasons, protracted withdrawal symptoms can last up to 12 months or longer.

If it was withdrawals the seizures were different, harder, bluer. We only see the shivering too with illness or withdrawals.
